On 2 August 2027, Luxor sits on the path of totality for one of the decade's most dramatic total solar eclipses. This 10-day Eleganza eclipse package pairs a 5-star Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor with dedicated eclipse viewing near Karnak, Red Sea nights in Hurghada, and the Giza Pyramids with an optional Grand Egyptian Museum visit.

Partial phases begin late morning; in Luxor totality is timed for early afternoon (approx. 13:02–13:08 local). Combine cosmic spectacle with Philae Temple, Kom Ombo, Edfu, the Valley of the Kings, and Hatshepsut Temple under expert Egyptologist guidance.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Arrive Cairo International Airport. Your tour manager greets you, assists with arrival formalities, and transfers you by air-conditioned vehicle to your Cairo hotel. Review pick-up times for the eclipse Egypt itinerary, then rest before Upper Egypt.

Fly Cairo to Aswan. With your Egyptologist visit the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk of Hatshepsut, and Philae Temple of Isis on Agilkia Island. Check in to your 5★ deluxe Nile cruise for lunch, dinner, and overnight onboard.

Visit Kom Ombo's unique twin temple dedicated to Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and Sobek the crocodile god. Return onboard for lunch and dinner while sailing toward Edfu and Luxor.

Tour Edfu Temple of Horus, then Luxor's West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Continue sailing to Luxor for overnight onboard.

Total Solar Eclipse Day in Luxor. Partial eclipse begins around 11:40; totality approx. 13:02–13:08 local time along the Nile Valley path. After the cosmic event, visit Karnak Temple, the world's largest religious complex. Transfer by private coach to Hurghada (about 3 hours) for dinner and overnight.

Free day on Hurghada's Red Sea coast. Swim, relax on sandy beaches, or arrange optional diving and snorkeling. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel.

Second free beach day in Hurghada. Enjoy the Red Sea resort atmosphere after the eclipse and Nile cruise programme.

Breakfast, then transfer to Hurghada Airport for your flight to Cairo. Check in to your Cairo hotel and rest.

Egyptologist-led visit to the Giza Pyramids and Great Sphinx, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu and Khafre's Valley Temple. Optional Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) visit available.

Breakfast, then transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
