Details

The adventure begins in Cairo where an Egyptologist guide will lead you to the Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx. Fly south to Luxor for a 4-night Nile cruise visiting Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Edfu, Kom Ombo, and the Unfinished Obelisk. Disembark in Aswan and fly back to Cairo to explore the Egyptian Museum and Coptic Old Cairo. Continue to Dubai for a guided city tour showcasing Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa, and a desert 4x4 safari with Bedouin BBQ dinner under the stars. Travel to Abu Dhabi for the Qasr Al Watan palace and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque before boarding a 4-night Celestyal Iconic Arabia cruise visiting Doha (Qatar), Ras Al-Khaimah (UAE), and Khasab (Oman) — the "Norway of Arabia."

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Depart for Cairo, Egypt. Some customers may depart on Day 2 or Day 0 depending on flight scheduling. Some may arrive on Day 1 with an additional night's accommodation provided.

Meals: In-Flight

Upon arrival in Cairo, be met by a representative and transferred to the hotel.

Overnight: Baron Hotel or similar, Cairo

Visit the Sphinx and Pyramids of Giza with your Egyptologist guide. The Great Pyramid of Khufu, approximately 138 metres high, is the only survivor of the Seven Wonders. Visit the Valley Temple, pyramid of Chephren, and the Great Sphinx stretching approximately 73 metres.

Optional Activity: Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).

Overnight: Baron Hotel or similar, Cairo

Meals: Breakfast

Fly to Luxor. Transfer to the ship. After lunch, visit Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple dedicated to "God Amun." Optional 5-Star Dahabiya Sailboat upgrade (Iris Dahabiya Sailboat with only 17 cabins).

Overnight: MS Hapi V or similar

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Transfer to the West Bank. Tour the Valley of the Kings. Visit the Temple of Hatshepsut. Pass the Colossi of Memnon. Sail to Edfu past the Esna Lock.

Visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu. Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to Sobek and Horus. Set sail for Aswan.

Optional Abu Simbel tour (two massive rock temples on the western bank of Lake Nasser). Guided tour of the Unfinished Obelisk and Aswan High Dam. Traditional Nubian party dinner on board.

Disembark and fly to Cairo. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Visit the Egyptian Museum (Museum of Egyptian Antiquities) with pharaonic treasures from over 5,000 years ago. Drive to Old Cairo via Tahrir Square. Visit Coptic Cairo: Babylon Fortress, the Hanging Church, Greek Church of St. George, and Saints Sergius Church (Abu Serga).

Overnight: Baron Hotel or similar, Cairo

Fly to Dubai. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Overnight: City Season Hotel or similar, Dubai

Half-day guided tour. Visit Palm Jumeirah, Souk Madinat Jumeirah with views of Burj Al Arab, the Museum of the Future (entrance not included), Burj Khalifa for photos, Dubai Mall with its 1,200+ shops, 50-metre aquarium (entrance not included), and the Dubai Fountain.

Overnight: City Season Hotel or similar, Dubai

Meals: Breakfast

Morning at leisure. Afternoon 4x4 desert safari with dune bashing. Stop on the highest dune for sunset views. Continue to an authentic Bedouin campsite with henna designs, local dresses, belly dance performance, and BBQ buffet dinner under the stars.

Overnight: City Season Hotel or similar, Dubai

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Travel to Abu Dhabi (approximately 140 km). Visit Abu Dhabi's Heritage Village. Tour Qasr Al Watan (entrance included), a presidential palace. Enter the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the world's largest mosques with one of the world's biggest chandeliers and handcrafted carpet. Late afternoon, transfer to the Cruise Terminal to embark on the 4-night Arabia cruise aboard Celestyal Discovery. Depart 19:00.

Overnight: Celestyal Discovery

Arrive 08:00, Depart 18:00. Welcome to Doha, Qatar's futuristic capital. See the 300-metre Aspire Tower, explore the waterfront cafes and restaurants. Optional visit to The Pearl, a futuristic artificial circular port.

Overnight: Celestyal Discovery

Arrive 11:00, Depart 23:59. The northernmost Emirate with kilometres of white sandy beaches, the majestic Hajar Mountains, the world's longest zip line, camel races, and fantastic views from the UAE's highest mountain.

Tendered 08:00–18:00. "The Norway of Arabia" awaits with rugged fjords and crystal-clear waters. Discover ancient forts, dolphins dancing along traditional dhow cruises, and the blend of natural splendour and rich history. Port accessed by tender boats, subject to weather.

Arrive 09:00. Disembark and transfer to Dubai hotel (approximately 140 km). Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure for one final night in this iconic city.
